If you want something healthy and refreshing in the morning, make this Carrot Juice with Turmeric and Pineapple.
That’s fresh turmeric root, not powdered. Luckily these days we can find it in most grocery stores, including Whole Foods. This Carrot Juice recipe also includes fresh ginger and lemon, because to me, all juices should have those two ingredients. They’re just essential to a good juice!
Fresh turmeric is super healthy for you, which is why I wanted to include it in this recipe. One of its active ingredients is curcumin, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. if you’d like to read more about any possible health benefits, look right here.
Ingredient Notes:
- Carrots – I like to make sure they’re chilled prior to juicing to that the juice is cold, too. Feel free to use any orange carrots you’d like. Regular or baby, whatever you prefer or have available in your refrigerator.
- Pineapple – Similar to carrots, I prefer using pineapple chilled. You can buy a whole pineapple and cut it up, or just buy the pre-cut pineapple chunks.
- Turmeric – If you can’t find the turmeric, the juice will still be excellent without it. But will be that much healthier with it if you can!
- Lemon – Taking the seeds out is important, since most home juicers can’t process the seeds.
