Celery Juice with Lemon & Ginger, Sacha Served What

I try to make this celery juice most mornings. It’s super refreshing, perfectly balanced, and kickstarts my day!

This celery juice recipe is so simple, it’s made with just three ingredients! I like to prep a big batch of ingredients for the entire week. This way it’s easy to throw them in in the juicer first thing in the morning. I keep the cut up celery, lemons, and ginger all in separate containers and take what I need for a juice each day.

It has just the right amount of everything. Lots of zing from the lemon, freshness from the celery, and spiciness from the ginger. But if you like a lot of ginger, like my husband does, add a little bit more.

Celery juice is super healthy for you. It’s lot in sugar and contains a lot of vitamins, like potassium, and Vitamins A, C, and K. It’s super hydrating and could also potentially reduce inflammation. You can read about it more here. It’s the perfect drink to have first thing in the morning! Have it with a nutritious breakfast, like The Creamiest Soft Scrambled Eggs or Berry Chia Pudding.

Equipment

  • 1 Juicer or a blender and a fine mesh sieve

Ingredients

  • 20 oz. about 1 large bunch celery chilled, stalk and leaves cleaned and cut into 1-2 inch pieces
  • 1 lemon chilled, peel and pith removed, lemon quartered and seeded
  • 2 inch piece ginger peeled and sliced into small chunks

Instructions

  • Run juicer, passing ingredients through until everything is juiced. Drink soon after. If you don't have a juicer, blend ingredients until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve.

Notes

Best to consume immediately, as the acid from the lemon will discolor the juice if left too long.
